See Volume 1, Number 4, October 1986. Pages 181, 182. Information founded in WPA Interviews, Volume 57, pages 204, 205, 206. From Warren D. Morse field notes, Feb. 4, 1937. The Tucker Cemetery was founded in 1896 by Tucker and is still being used with the Tucker Association being the present owners. There are approximately 100 graves with only 35 marked of which I have copied 11 of them. The general condition of the site is good; it is fenced in but grown up in grass. It is just west of Tucker School house in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 S3 T2S R7W. The cemetery was founded at the time the settlement started from a store on the Chisholm Trail.... Mr. Kinder told me there were a number of stores and housed here but he did not know just who was the first buried there. There are many mounds which have no markings at all."
