MINTON The subject of this sketch is one of Comanche's first settlers, and has been engaged in business since his settlement her. Minton's Store is a common expression, not only with the people who live within the corporate limits of the city but equally so with those of the surrounding country. In his store will be found a well selected stock of dry goods, notions, shoes, furnishings, and groceries which are sold as cheaply as you can buy the same class of goods at any store in any town. Mr. Minton's extensive acquaintance among wholesalers and his reputation for honesty and prompt pay, enables him to buy at the lowest possible price and his experience makes him a judge of the quality of goods, so that when he recommends an article, his customers accept his word and their long continuance with him is certainly proof of his fair dealing.
