Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Heritage Oaks Church of the Nazarene in Duncan with Bobby Howard officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Comanche. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Lois was born Sept. 13, 1912, in Comanche, to William J. and Pauline Deason Sears. She married Marcus L. Absher on Aug. 6, 1927, in Duncan. They shared 59 years together. Mrs. Absher was a homemaker, loved to garden and her family was her joy. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Thurman W. and Charlotte Absher of Duncan; a daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Patrick Smith of Duncan; nine grandchildren, Patrick and Kathy Smith, Sharon and Jim Smith, Evelyn Courson, Michael and Joanna Smith, Toni and Martin Libhart, Richard Absher, Jeanene and Rob Lord, Marcus and Delayna Smith and Mona and Lance Walden; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Aubrey Sears of Duncan and Kendell Sears of Healdton; and many nieces, nephews and vast extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Nelson Smith; a daughter-in-law, Lorna Absher; four sisters , Blanche Sorrell, Flay Beatty Anderson, Eunice Roebuck and Rudean Sitton; and three brothers, Harold Sears, Ray Sears and W.J.
