Alexander MORENO VALLEY, Calif. — Robert I. Alexander, 79, of Moreno Valley, Calif., died there Tuesday, May 28, 2002. Service will be at noon Saturday in the Moreno Valley Chapel under the direction of Moreno Valley Mortuary. Mr. Alexander was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Duncan. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked in maintenance at the Corona School District in California for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Berneice, of the home; two sons, Larry Alexander of Moreno Valley and Robert D. Alexander of Florida; two daughters, Rhonda Alexander and Sandra Alexander of Riverside, Calif.; two brothers, Ernest Alexander of Duncan and Noble Alexander of Loveland, Colo.; three sisters, Dorothy Nalley and Florence Strawn, both of Duncan, and Mary Snodgrass of Tulare, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
