She married Cecil E. Standfield in McAlester on Jan 19, 1944. He was killed in action in WW11. On Aug. 9, 1958 she married Burvie "Art" Arterbury at the Northside Church of Christ in Duncan. She attended Okla. A & M. She worked for the War Manpower Commission, Veteran's Administration. She retired as Executive Secretary from Halliburton in 1974. She was a charter member of the Duncan Desk and Derrick Club. Survivors include five nieces and their husbands, Jimmie Nell Turpin of Gerty, Judy and Gene Cain of Anadarko, Susie and Jackie Brown of Holdenville, Jan and Mark Atkinson of Indianapolis Ind., Tanya and Peter Johnson of Los Altos, Calif., one niece-in-law Mrs. Glen (Mary Lou) Sharpe of Yuma, Colo., her late husband's stepson and his wife, Charles and Tena Ward of Bozeman, Mont., also nine great nephews and five great nieces, 17 great-great-nieces and nephews and one great- great-great nephew, one sister-in-law Frances Standfield Johnson of Arlington TX, one niece, Patty Ryals Halligan of Lansing Mich, and four nephews, Tommy and Jeannie Johnson of Arlington, David and Cindy Johnson of Lewisburg, Tenn., Richard and Kathy Ryals of Lansing , Mich. Preceded in death by her husband Art on July 18, 1984, her parents, two sisters, Audrey Smith and Thelma Ramsey, two brothers Harlod Ramsey and twin brother Gerald Dean Ramsey and one nephew Glen Sharpe. Services were in the Chisholm Train Church of Christ with Kern Porter officiating and Leonard Keele assisting. Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
