Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home with the Rev. Woody McClendon officiating. Burial was held in the Hope Cemetery. Born September 30, 1918, to John T. and Margaret (Russell) Garrett in Davis, she had lived in Marlow for 65 years and was a former resident of Lawton, she had also worked at her son’s station for 30 years. Mrs. Boyce attended Davis and Sulphur Schools, she was very family oriented and enjoyed embroidery work and gardening. On March 26, 1936, she married E. W. "Pete" Boyce in Springer, he preceded her in death on May 5, 1989. She is also preceded in death by her parents; a son Jack Boyce, a grandson Pete Boyce; three great-grandsons Christopher Woods, Shawn Smith, and John Moran; a sister and six brothers. Survivors two sons and daughters-in-law Jerry and Sue Boyce of Marlow and Charles and Donna Boyce of Lawton; two daughters and son- in-law Mary and Daniel Harrison of Cox City and Leusta Davis of Marlow; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons Doug Moran; Doug Smith; Danny Harrison; Tim Ward; Clayton Ward; Jaye Ward and Ryan Smith.
