Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Assumption Catholic Church with the Rev. Valentin Handwerker of Memphis, Tenn., and the Rev. Donald J. Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Duncan under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel, and the family will receive friends until 9 p.m. Michael was born May 25, 1994, in Duncan to Michael Joseph Bacon and Koree Kay Goldsmith Wilkerson. He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Koree and Mike Wilkerson of the home; his father, Michael Bacon of Oakdale, La.; a sister, Madeleine Jade Bacon of the home; and his grandparents, Roland and Carol Goldsmith of Duncan and Richard and Diane Bacon of Oakdale. He is also survived and loved by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bearers will be Ted Bacon, Tim Bacon, Justin Hooker and Henry Wehrmann. Honorary bearers are Patrick Burns, Neal Nolan, Don Nutt, LaWayne Jones, J.W. Hines, Bennie Wilson, Steve Rahill, Don Nesom, Todd Nesom, Huey Fuselier, Gregory Monceaux, Herbert McGee, Errol Bruchhaus, Russell Stone, the Duncan Fire Department and Farm Bureau Insurance of Louisiana.
