The Rev. Alvin Turner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. ========= Duncan Banner 07 May 2003 Robert Morris Baker Jr. MARLOW - Robert Morris Baker Jr., 59, of Marlow died Saturday, April 26, 2003. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Red Bud Park Chapel in Marlow with the Rev. Alvin Turner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. There will be in visitation at the funeral home. Robert Morris was born May 15, 1943, in Anadarko, to Robert Morris Baker Sr. and Leona Louise Tingley Baker. He married Aletha Kay Sandefur on May 14, 2001, in Marlow. Mr. Baker had lived in the Marlow-Duncan area for several years. He retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He served in Desert Storm and Vietnam. While serving in the Army he received various awards and medals including, the Vietnam Cross Service Medal, Service Star, Overseas Service Ribbon and Bar, Meritorius Unit Accommodation, Valorous Award, Republic of Vietnam Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and Good Conduct Medal. He enjoyed mystery novels, guns, game shows and weight lifting. He was a member of the Christian Church in Anadarko. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Morris Baker III and Jennifer of Apache, Dempsey Don and Jennifer Baker and Truman Leon and Cara Baker, all of Anadarko; a step daughter, Sophia Evans of Marlow; a step son, Aaron McCrary of Marlow; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vivian and Scott Donaldson of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Janet and Ford McDonald of Ogden, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and a great- grandchild.
