Levy Bailey of Duncan (Stephens County) born Feb. 10, 1917 in Marlow to Bennett and Addie Mae Clark Atkins, died March 24, 2001 in the Duncan Care Center at the age of 84. She was the youngest of six children. She graduated from Duncan High School. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for Haliburton. She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi and was a past deacon for Westside Christian Church. She married first William "Bill" Levy. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1975. She then married A.C. " Burr" Bailey on Nov. 17, 1979. She is survived by her husband of the home, two daughters, Linda Levy of Denver, Colo and Judi Hines of Hanford, CA' one step- daughter, Sue Brown of the Woodlands TX; a sister, Bonita and her husband Hollie Thompson of Dallas TX; four grandchildren, Richard Hines and Christina Hine of Hanford, Mark Brown and Jana Mayberry of The Woodlands; six nieces and seven nephews. Services were in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel in Duncan with the Rev. Jerry Black officiating.
