Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Mr. Bailey was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Comanche to George J. Sr. and Velma Murphree Bailey. He married Eva Edith Austin on June 6, 1948, in Healdton. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as a truck salesman, retiring from White Motor Co. Mr. Bailey was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of Shriners, and a charter member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Eva Edith, of the home; two sons, Everett Bailey of Moore and Grady Bailey of The Colony, Texas; a daughter Molly Bailey Long of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
