Visitation is Sunday August 28, 2005 from 6-8p.m. at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday August 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with Rev. Lawrence Gresham. Burial will be at Marlow Cemetery. Opal was born Wednesday April 15, 1925 in Bowie, Texas to the late Kirby Wyant Henderson, and the late Emma (Jones) Henderson. Opal's husband Rayburn Lee Bailey preceded her in death October 16, 1999; they were married June 15, 1946 in Duncan. Opal was a native of Marlow; she enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables in her garden, working word puzzles and reading. Opal was a wonderful cook; her grandchildren always requested her homemade banana pudding. Opal was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Larry Don Bailey and wife Patti of Duncan, 2 daughters, Barbara Jane Newkirk and husband Tommy of Sonora, Texas, Karen Louise Davidson and husband Larry of Duncan, 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 brother, Lloyd Henderson of San Diego, CA. and 1 sister, Virgie Sims of Oklahoma City.
