Burial will be in Weavers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Comanche. ========= Duncan Banner 19 Dec 2002 Jimmie Willis Boon COMANCHE — Jimmie Willis Boon, 70, of Comanche passed from this life Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, in Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Patterson Avenue Baptist Church in Comanche with Pastor Billy Morgan officiating. Burial will be in WeaverÕs Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Comanche. Mr. Boon was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Comanche to Jasper and Ina Boon. He was a graduate of East Central High School and attended Cameron University for three years. He retired from Halliburton and was the owner of a small business in Comanche. He was a member of the Odd Fellows of Comanche, the Chamber of Commerce, and Patterson Avenue Baptist Church. Mr. Boon was married to Dimple Darlene Sloan, Sept. 15, 1956. She preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 1990. He and Linda Sue Williamson were married March 17, 1993. Mr. Boon is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; five sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim and Carolyn Boon of Red Oak, Texas, Sammy McCartney of Oklahoma City, Andy and Ginger Boon of Temple, Kenny King of Comanche and Gary Goodrich of Pauls Valley; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jacque Karty of Waurika, Amanda and Darrell Luna of Waurika, and Amber Allen of Comanche; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dimple; four sisters, Millie Bowman, Jessie Simmons-Carter, Essie Tettleton and Willie Patty; and two brothers, Ruel and Jack Boon. Bearers will be Damon Coston, Rudy Smith, Jerry Honeycut, Jerry Allen, Dennis Vail and Billy Qualls.
