Arrangements are by Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home at Marlow. ========= Duncan Banner 16 Aprl 2002 Lance Eugene Benton CENTRAL HIGH — Lance Eugene Benton, 22, of Norman died Friday, April 12, 2002, in Tecumseh. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Central Baptist Church in Central High with the Rev. Billy Morgan officiating. Eulogy will be read by Kayla Benton. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Mr. Benton was born on Nov. 6, 1979, in Duncan to Eddie Ray and Paula Denise Bishop Benton. He lived in Norman for four years and lived most of his live in the Duncan and Marlow areas. He graduated with the Duncan High School Class of 1998. He was an assistant manger with Taco Bell in Norman. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Duncan. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Eddie Ray and Janice Benton of Henrietta, Texas; his mother, Paula Denise Benton of Duncan; his girlfriend, Jackie Coates of Norman; three sisters, Kayla Ray, Amy Elyse, Ashley Kay Benton, all of Henrietta; grandparents, Doyal and Faye Benton of Marlow, Mary Bishop of Duncan; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tommy Bishop.
