All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Waurika Cemetery--Waurika OK Duncan Banner 05 Sep 2002 Jack Abe Berry WAURIKA — Jack Abe Berry, 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, in Jefferson County Hospital. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Waurika Cemetery with Ken Coleman officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Berry was born Aug. 11, 1914, in Loco, to Walter and Maude Berry. He married Lillie Imogene in Duncan. Mr. Berry retired from Rock Island Railroad in 1977. Survivors include his wife of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Kim Berry of Waurika; two stepsons, Melvin Copeland and Ricky Copeland both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four daughters, Jackie Berry of Wichita Falls, Ruby Wilkerson of Waurika, Billie June Adcock of Comanche, and Ann Thomas of Duncan; three step-daughters, Judy Greenroyd of Ringling, LaLonnie McGlockin of Milburn, and Carolyn Taylor of Canadian; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Alvin Berry and Sammy Berry; and a stepson, Dewayne Copeland.
