Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Chapel of Grimes in Glendale, AZ. Born April 21, 1912, in Lawton, he had worked for J. G. Boswell Co. and was a shop and ranch foreman for the (formally) Goodyear Ranch in Chandler, AZ. He was an ardent bowler, was President and served as Past President of the Glendale Arizona branch of The Woodmen of the World and was a member for 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary; and two grandchildren Mickey Franklin and Jason Miller. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law William and Judy Barbee, Gerald and Dona Barbee and Allen and Deena Barbee; four daughters and three sons-in-law Letha Adkins, Shirley and Charles Rothwell, Sue and Bill Sleeper and Doris and Bill Franklin; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
