"Buster" Barrick ADA - W. B. "Buster" Barrick, 81, of Ada, died Wednesday, April 16, in a Ada hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, at the Criswell Chapel in Ada with the Rev. John Haynes, the Rev. Danny Barrick and Nathan Elliott officiating. Committal services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Duncan cemetery. Mr. Barrick was born December 10, 1921, in Pauls Valley to Willis D. and Fairy Jane Lynn Barrick. He attended school in Duncan. On July 28, 1940, Barrick married Leona (Bea) Brown in Duncan. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, in the South Pacific aboard the USS Louisville. Mr. Barrick worked in the oil field and later was the manager of N. L. Acme Tool Company in Ada, until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Bea Barrick of the home; five daughters, Alicia Donnie Johnson of Ada, Lona Barrick of Norman, Nancy Elliott of Ada, Anita Williams of Yukon and Andrea Bahner of Ada; one son, Ben Berrick of Ada; one sister, Patty Langford of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Ronnie Johnson in 1965.
