Carolyn "Sue" Brooks

Carolyn "Sue" Brooks, 69, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 28, 2004.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Mescalero Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Charles Vick officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs 
and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Marlow, Okla., and raised in Amarillo. She 
graduated from Amarillo High School in 1953. She married Larry Brooks in 
1958 at Amarillo. Mrs. Brooks taught Sunday school at Paramount Baptist 
Church and Mescalero Baptist Church for several years. She was a very 
loving and caring person and will be missed by all.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Barbara Ann Moore of Panhandle; 
a son, John Brooks of Amarillo; a brother, Tony R. Haskins of Amarillo; 
and a granddaughter, Sarah Brooke Moore of Panhandle.
