Hospital in Lawton. He married Mary Emma Goldston in Antioch on Aug 2 1941. She preceded him in death on Feb. 28 1970, he then married Ethel Kelly on July 3 1977 in Duncan. He served in the U.S. Army during the 2nd World War. He retired from Stephens Co. road maintenance employee. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Marlow VFW. Survivors include his wife of the home, six sons, Jimmy and Paulette Burton of Marlow, Bill and Gail Burton of Bray, Tommy Burton of Oklahoma City, Otis and Helen Kelly of Lindsay, Frank and Gayla Kelly of Empire, and Rick Kelly of Marlow, three daughters, June and George Adams of Lindsay, Helen Burton of Oklahoma City, and Carolyn Jagger of Dallas, 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a brother Grady Burton of Duncan and a sister Wanda Mae Davis of Marlow. He was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Kelly and a brother D.O. Burton. Funeral services were held in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Russell officiating.
