Graveside services were held at 2 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 1, at Marlow Cemetery with Rev. Max Pyron officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born May 8, 1923, to Herbert and Cadder (Ellis) Adkisson in Arkadelphia, AR, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Brown lived in the Marlow area most of her life, she attended school at Central High and enjoyed Bingo, making crafts and bowling. On April 29, 1942, to Herman Fred Brown in Rush Springs, he preceded her in death on April 27, 1997. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister Eunice Andrews. Survivors include a son and a daughter-in-law Larry and Judy Brown of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Other survivors include two brothers Artie Calhoun of Marlow and Herschel Adkisson of San Antonio, TX; and two sisters Estelle Fincher of Marlow and Patsy Gomez of Oklahoma City.
