The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Barnett, Moore, Wood, Morris Dorothy Helen Barnett of Duncan, formerly a longtime resident of Velma, born Jan. 30 1908 in Waurika to Albert and Myrtle Moore Wood, died March 30 1999 in Wilkins Nursing Center in Duncan. She married W.A. Barnett on Oct. 31 1924 in Hastings. She was an active member of the Velma Senior Citizens Group and member of the Velma Baptist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Doyle E. and Sue Barnett of Wichita KS., a daughter, Celestine Morris of Duncan, six grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 20 1963, her parents, a son, Burney Ray Barnett in 1928, five brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held in the Velma Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Robbins officiating and Rev. Brad Reimer assisting. Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
