Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Central Baptist Church in Central High, with the Rev. Randy McFarland officiating and the Rev. Marvin Knox presenting the eulogy. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Mrs. Cooper was born Jan. 17, 1909, in Grady County near Marlow to Charles and Asenath Beavers Fincher. She married Lilburn F. Cooper on Dec. 23, 1931. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1970. Mrs. Cooper lived in Grady County for seven years before moving to Central High where she resided for 68 years. She attended Prairie Center School and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1926. In 1950, Mrs. Cooper and her husband became charter members of the Central Baptist Church where Mrs. Cooper was active in the church. She served as Sunday School secretary, chairperson of the Hostess Committee and for many years was secretary of the Dorcas Class. In 1984 she moved to Duncan. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Jimmy Cooper and his wife, Sharon, of Duncan; grandson, Glynn Franklin Cooper of Stillwater; granddaughter, Kelli Burke and husband, Tim, of Duncan; great-grandson Tyler Burke of Duncan; three nephews and their wives, Bob and Jean Fincher of Beubrook, Texas, J.C. and Gruemella Fincher of Oklahoma City and Clyde Fincher of Crystal River, Fla.; five nieces and their husbands, Carlene Campbell of Stillwater, Barbara and Jerry Allsup of Bartlesville, Mary Bratcher of Moore, Elda Reeves of Dallas and Daphine and Jonarch Jones of Duncan. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Bearers will be Otey B.
