She married J.E. Cook on March 20 1937 and they entered the ministry together, pastoring at Old Hickory Tenn, Chattanooga, Tenn., Jasper Ala, and in Duncan for 10 years. She and her husband served as General Moderators of the Bible Missionary Church. Survivors include her husband of the home, a daughter JoAnn Holderbach of Harrisburg PA, her sons, the Rev. William Cook of Tulsa, Charles Cook of Yantis TX, and Aris Cook of DeSoto Tx. Her grandchildren, Carole Ann vanErven, Glenda Jeanne Chub, Robert Eugene Porter, Jacqueline Holderbach, Tamara Lyn Schroeder, Joseph E. Cook, and Samuel Mark Cook, two sisters, Fannie Strickland and Vinnie Young, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Dee Cook, a brother Aris W. McMannus, and two sisters Buena Olive and Lois Tatum. Services were held in the Bible Missionary Church with Rev. Tony Ross, Rev. Roger Moyer and Rev. Russell Moyer officiating. Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
