Service was to be at 10 a.m. today in Immanuel Baptist Church, with Dr. Jack Robbins officiating. Burial was to be in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Ty was born Sept. 23, 1975, in Perryton, Texas, to Samuel Dallas Cox and Lauren Haas. He graduated from Empire High School in 1995 and for the past several years had worked with his mother in Fandango Bread Company in Duncan. Survivors include his mother, Lauren Haas Dixon of the home; his father, Samuel Dallas Cox of Duncan; a son, Skyler Cox of Broken Arrow; two brothers, Trent Cox of Ponder, Texas, and Clint Cox of Duncan; three sisters, Ginger Mitchell of Tulsa, Sara Dixon of Edmond and Laura Morris of Oklahoma City; and two grandmothers, Frances Clark and Eilleen Cox, both of Duncan. He was preceded in death by three grandfathers, Clyde Clark, Dallas Cox and Lawrence Haas.
