He married Mary Juretta Stone on June 1 1934 in Waurika. He attended school in Comanche. They resided in Duncan where he worked for Haliburton Oil Well and Cementing Co. retiring after 25 yrs. They later lived in Roswell NM and in Ruidoso NM, returning to Oklahoma in 1989 making their home in Chickasha. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Duncan. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Paul DeLee and Elton McAlister of Oklahoma City and Mary Louise Reading of Norman. two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Paul IV and Bobby Costello of Elgin, and Michael Karl and Kaye Costello of Roswell, two sisters Mildred Mary McWeth of Yukon and Sabina Josephine Woodard of Duncan, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and five brothers. Services were held in Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Chickasha with Rev. Ron Mahan officiating.
