Parker Cockrell Ellen T. Parker Cockrell, 97, of Duncan died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, in Duncan. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Duncan City Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Ellen was born April 4, 1906, in Mina, Ark., to James and Mary Dillon Williamson. She married Winfield Scott "Pete" Parker in August 1931, and he preceded her in death in April 1941. She then married G.T. "Charlie" Cockrell in October 1943, and he preceded her in death in July 1967. Mrs. Cockrell was a homemaker and a member Wesley United Methodist. Survivors include a son, Billy Parker and his wife, Noy, of Hurst, Texas; three daughters, Juanita Fenimore and her husband, Virgil, of Comanche, Lois Fenimore-Kordis and her husband, Wayne, of Oklahoma City, and Edna Parker of Lodi, Calif.; a sister, Jewel Parr of East Carbon, Utah; a sister-in-law, Nadine Williamson of Duncan; 14 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Stephens County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/stephens/stephens.htm
