Selma Clinkscales, 86, of 714 West Payne died in Marlow Nursing Home, Tuesday, September 9. She had been ill one year. She was born in Brown County, Texas, June 3, 1883. She had lived in Marlow three years, and from 1915 until 1965 she lived in Dallas. She was married to Henry Clinkscales, September 1, 1916 in Dallas. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dallas. Survivors include; her husband, Henry Clinkscales, of Marlow; two sons, Duard Terry of Lacrosse, Wisconsin and Walter Terry of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Velda Muncrief of Midland, Texas, Winnir Coreau of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Eugene Toth of Albuquerque, New Mexico; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Jess Martin of Cederhill, Texas and Claude Martin of Cement, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Allie Dismuke of Marlow. Funeral services were held in the Callaway-Smith Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 13, conducted by Rev. H.C.
