Chambers MARLOW - Funeral for Jewel C. Chambers, 85, Marlow, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel, Marlow, with the Rev. Tony Nichols, Bobby Nichols and the Rev. Ron Howard officiating. Mrs. Chambers died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, in Chickasha. Burial will be at Marlow Cemetery. She was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Archer City, Texas, to Thomas Rodger Patterson and Martha Petit Patterson. She married O.H. "Jack" Grice in 1937. He later died. She married Charley Chambers in Marlow in 1967 and he died Nov. 24, 1994. She was a member of Marlow Gospel Tabernacle Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Wayne Nichols, Marlow; three brothers and four sisters-in-law: Roy and Carla Patterson, John "J.C." and Lawanda Patterson, J.R. and Bobby Patterson and Linda Patterson; four sisters: Nomie Largent, Christine Whybark, Tommie Weyrick and Margaret Elam; two stepdaughters and a son-in-law: Genovia and Bill Lubbers; and Wanda Wilkins; five grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Stephens County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/stephens/stephens.htm
