Conatser Mary E. Conatser, 87, of Duncan, went to be with her Lord and Savior of 63 years on Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Country Club Care. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Praise Assembly of God in Comanche with the Rev. Billy Bowen officiating, assisted by the Rev. W.W. Harkins. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home. She was born on Aug. 21, 1914, in Chattanooga to William and Ella Campbell Boyle. She married Frank A. Conatser on Sept. 16, 1931, in Perry. He preceded her in death in 1986. The Conatsers owned and operated Conatser Nursing Home, 1951-1971, in Meridian and built the new Conatser Nursing Home in 1969. She was a charter member of the Oklahoma Nursing Association, and helped found Bethel Assembly of God in Duncan and Kingston First Assembly of God. She was a member of Praise Assembly of God. Survivors include two sons, John L. Conatser, and his wife Cheri, and David L. Conatser; a daughter and her husband, Donna and E.T. Graham Jr.; a sister, Georgie Young; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Bearers will be Richie Bowen, Larry Smith, Jeromy Smiddy, Andy Smiddy, Ken Anthony, Tom Graham and Jason Tittle.
