All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Countiss, Marie Eileen 1943 - 2005 Marie Eileen Countiss, 62, a loving mother and grandmother, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at her residence. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at the grave with Javier Smolarz, Ritual Director, and Rabbi Sidney Zimelman officiating. Burial: Following committal prayers, Marie will be laid to rest in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Visitation: For religious reasons, she will not lie in state. Memorials: Mrs. Countiss' family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent. However, those desiring are suggested to make memorial contributions, in her name, to Congregation Ahavath Sholom, or to a charity of choice. A native of Comanche, Okla., Marie Eileen Countiss was born Jan. 29, 1943, the daughter of Hubert and Mary Carter Countiss. She was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School and attended college in Chickasha, Okla. Marie moved to Fort Worth in 1983, where she worked in the business office of Southwestern Bell until retiring. Following retirement, Marie worked as a receptionist for AmeriCredit. She was a member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom. Survivors: Daughter, Bridget Grnwwalt and her husband, Irie, of Lake Worth; grandson, Cash Grnwalt, with the U.S. Armed Forces, stationed in Germany; and stepfather, Joseph Welch of Waurika, Okla.
