Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at Cox City Baptist Church with the Rev. Bart Lujan officiating. Burial was held in the Purdy Cemetery under the direction of the B. G. Boydston Funeral Home. Born January 24, 1910, to Frank and Hazel (Hewes) Jackson in Alex, she lived in Cox City most of her life and was a member of the Cox City Baptist Church. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of Pike’s Peak Extension Homemakers and enjoyed quilting and gardening. On September 20, 1931, she married Ira "Big" Cunningham in Lindsay. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son Larry Cunningham; two brothers Charles Jackson and James Jackson; two sisters June Williams and Sylvia Jones; and a grandchild Stephen Cunningham. Survivors include a son Lindel Bruce Cunningham; six grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren; and a sister Marjorie Hayes.
