Surnames: Carroll, Iverson, Ball, Hix, Howard

Gayla Lorena Carroll of Marlow, born Jan 22 1928 to Arlie and Myrtle 
Iverson in Marlow, died Aug. 21 1999 in Vencor Hospital in Oklahoma 
City. She had lived in Marlow all her life. She married James J. 
Carroll on May 20 1950 in Lawton. She graduated from Marlow High 
School and was a retired SW Bell Telephone operator. 

She is survived by one son David Carroll of Altus, one daughter and 
son-in-law Patsy and Gary Ball of Marlow, one grandson Matthew Ball, 
one brother and sister-in-law, Weldon Ray and Joann Iverson of 
Marlow, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty and Leslie Hix of 
Lawton and Carolyn and Hurschal Howard of Marlow.

Services were in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Marlow 
with Jack Graves officiating.

Burial was in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-
Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow.
