Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb 12, in the Callaway- Smith Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Jorgenson officiating. Burial was in Marlow Cemetery. Born Oct. 28, 1913, in Cement, Davis had lived in Marlow since 1976 and was a retired heavy equipment operator for Stockton Unified School District. He and the former Dorothy Snead were married in Marlow in 1933. She died Feb. 10, 1976. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Neil Cox of Lodi, Calif.; three sisters, Florence Bishop of Oklahoma City, Pearl Cowan of Duncan and Fannie Newberry of Brentwood, Calif.; three grandchildren, Debra k. Combs and Janet L. Cox, both of Sacramento, Calif. and Phyllis Jeager of Lodi; and two great-grandchildren.
