Surnames: Davis, Burrows, Branum, Carey

Johnny Ewell Davis of Duncan ( Stephens Co.) born Jan 3, 1917 in Ada 
to Joseph N. and Delpha Burrows Davis, died Jan 9, 2001 in Norman.

He married Fayetta Bell Branum on Aug. 12, 1938 in Ada. He was a 
veteran of World War ll serving in US Navy. He was a member of the 
Western heights Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons, Darrell Davis of 
Oklahoma City and Randy Davis of Duncan, a daughter Lana Carey of 
Norman, two brothers, Loyd Davis of Russell KS. and Charles Davis of 
Oklahoma City, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held in the Western Heights Baptist Church 
with Rev. Ed Sasnet officiating. 

Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don 
Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan.
