She was a graduate of Chickasha High School. She Married Frank Edward Davis on Nov. 28 1942 in Chickasha. She was a resident of Marlow for 46 years. She was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, a charter member of the Friends of the Library and a member of the Bridge Club and Garden Club in Marlow. She taught oil painting and won several blue ribbons at the Oklahoma State Fair. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Marlow. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Paul Davis of Oklahoma City and Joe and Paula Davis of Tuttle, one daughter, Jan Harris of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren, a great-grandchild Avery Jade Davis, cousins Malcom Elliott of Wichita Kan, and Bill Elliott of Shawnee. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 5 1998. Funeral Services were held in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow with Kent Atrahan officiating. Burial was in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. --------------------------------------------------------------------
