All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Duncan Cemetery--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 5 Apr 2002 Catherine Bobo DeBois Catherine Bobo DeBois, 95, of Duncan died late Thursday, April 4, 2002, in her home. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in All Saints Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral home in Duncan. Mrs. DeBois was born on Oct. 11, 1906, in Lebanon, Tenn., to Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Bobo. She married J.D. DeBois on Aug. 13, 1928, in Lebanon. He preceded her in death in 1996. She left word that the only thing she wanted in her obituary was “housewife and mother of two sons.” Those who know her understand the importance she place on those lifetime roles. Although her sons were born and educated in Oklahoma her descendants now live in eight states across the country. She did conscientious job of staying in touch and keeping up with each of them. Survivors include two sons and spouses, James A. and Mary Catherine of Palm City, Fla., E. Louis and Marlene of Spring, Texas; seven grandchildren, James A.
