All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Helen Davidson PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. - Helen Davidson, 92, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Polk Street United Methodist Church chapel in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by Hensen Mortuary of Phoenix. Local arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Davidson was born March 19, 1912, in Duncan, Okla., the youngest of seven children. She married Russell Davidson on Oct. 10, 1931, and had three daughters. She and Russell made their home in Amarillo for more than 40 years, where they were active members of Polk Street United Methodist Church and avid golfers at Amarillo Country Club. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a daughter, Jere Lynn Mitchell. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jane Whitehurst of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jeanie Collier of Paradise Valley; 10 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, Donor Service, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174-0001.
