Deavers, Barbara Joyce 1930 - 2004

Barbara Joyce Deavers, 74, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, in 
Arlington.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday, Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Moore 
Memorial Gardens. Visitation: The family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. 
Sunday at the funeral home.

Barbara Deavers was born June 29, 1930, in Marlow, Okla. She was the first 
woman draftsman for the city of Arlington, a member of Friends of Johnson 
Creek, former member of Arlington Quilt Guild, Arlington Organic Gardening 
Club and National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts.

Survivors: Husband of 39 years, Bob Deavers of Arlington; daughters, Kathy 
Clifton of Arlington and Susan Neves and husband, Ernie Neves of El Paso; 
brother, Wayne Fulton of Plano; grandchildren, Christy Workowski of Ripon, 
Wis., Stacie DeVoll of Arlington, Bo Clifton III, U.S. Navy, Lemoore, 
Calif., and Kelsy Jo Clifton of Arlington; six great-grandchildren; and 
her beloved cats, Blue and Khaki.
