Pauline DeWitt, 97, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2005, in Duncan. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at the Church of Christ, with Roger Grice officiating. Burial was held in The Marlow Cemetery, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born Oct. 7, 1907, to Bates and Annie (Gregory) Ezell, in Wise County, Texas, she was an Avon Representative for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family. On Dec. 2, 1931, she married Warne A. DeWitt, in Clovis, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Charley Ezell; and a sister, Alva Anderson. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Don Shipman of Comanche; three grandchildren, Jr. Shipman and wife Tammy of Duncan, Ronnie Shipman and wife Blenda ofMarlow, and Kim Loughridge of Comanche; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Other survivors include two nephews, Lonnie Ezell, and Larry Anderson; and numerous cousins.
