Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton. ========= Duncan Banner 22 Apr 2002 Vica Beatrice DeMarco Vica Beatrice DeMarco, 84, of Duncan died Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Duncan Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John Culley officitating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan. Mrs. DeMarco was born Dec. 9, 1917, at Sivels Bend, Texas, to Fowler and Sally Smith Bennett. She married Victor Paul DeMarco on Nov. 2, 1942. She was a longtime telephone operator in various parts of the country, until retiring in 1984. She was affiliated with the Baptist church. She is survived by her husband; one brother, Harus Howeth of Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Nayoma Brewer of Bushland, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Wever and Damon Howeth; and four sisters, Edith Stafford, Rosy Byrd, Dorothy Tugman and Quee Seigler. Bearers will be Wayne Brewer, Roy Goode, Joe Elliott, Kenneth Shogun, Gary Byrd and Vargil Howeth.
