Services were held Friday, Oct. 12, at the First Christian Church in Marlow, with Kent Strahan officiating. Burial was in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Lucille was born Sunday, Sept. 18, 1921, in Rosebud, Ark., to Benjamin and Darcy Jewell (Heffington) Healy. She attended school at Cox City. She married Norman Lester Deal, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1991. Lucille retired from Gregston Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). She enjoyed being a homemaker and working in her garden and flowerbeds. She also loved taking care of her family, working puzzle books, reading and watching the Atlanta Braves. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother and two sisters. Survivors include four sons, Norman Lester Deal, Jr., and Donald Ray Deal, both of Marlow, Stanley Edgar Deal of Luther, and Glen Allen Deal of Fresno, Calif.; four daughters, Lawana Joann Naylor of Oklahoma City, Shirley Dean Zaczek of Clovis, Calif., Phyllis Jean Gilchrist of Watertown, N. Y., and Teri Lee Bowers of Kiefer; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Stephen Healy of Crescent City, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were James Norton, Bill Wilkerson, Jerry Williams, Pat Thrasher, Steve Black and Trent Thompson.
