All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Duncan Cemetery--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 11 Mar 2003 Claudia Alberta Everett Claudia Alberta Everett, 90, of Duncan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 8, 2003. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Graveside service was to be at 10:30 a.m. today in Duncan Cemetery with E.R. Cagle and John L. Hall officiating under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Claudia was born in Coalgate on Nov. 26, 1912, to J.D. Townsend and Emily Ford Townsend. She married D.R. "Red" Everett on Nov. 17, 1945, in Lawton. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1929, and was a hairdresser until she married then a devoted wife and mother. She was a nursery worker at Parkview Baptist Church for many years. Survivors include two sons, John Everett of the home, Jack Everett and his wife, Angie, of Yukon; two daughters, Judy Everett and Louise Turner and her husband, Charles, of Duncan; three grandsons, Zachary Everett of San Antonio, Texas, Chad Everett and his wife, Rashelle, of Lawton, and Michael Turner and his wife, Shari, of Duncan; four granddaughters, Kristy Everett of Duncan, Katie Everett of Sterling; Cheryl Snider and her husband, Todd, of Bethany, and Angela Grimes of Fond du Lac, Wis.; four great-grandchildren, KC, Austin, Charli and Brook; three step grandchildren, Tara Lutonsky, Trystan Lutonsky and Dylan Proctor of Yukon; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jack and Helen Townsend of Duncan, J.P. and Dorothy Townsend of Oklahoma City; and Hershel Townsend of Midwest City; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, her husband, her only sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Earl Tomblinson; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Townsend, preceded Mrs. Everett in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Chisholm Trail Hospice, P.O.
