Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ with Leonard Keele officiating and Gary Rollins of the MacArthur Church of Christ in Oklahoma City, assisting. Burial will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home in Duncan. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mr. Estes was born Feb. 2, 1915, in Denton, Texas, to Joseph Burley and Mabel Carson Estes. He married Ora Brannon on Feb. 23, 1946, in Lawton. He retired from public service in Duncan and was a member of the Kiwanis Club. He attended the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Ora, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Barbara Estes of Katy, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Bruce Scott of Newkirk; six grandchildren, Lance and Stefanie Rollins of Edmond, Greg Scott, Bethany Scott, and Doug Scott, all of Norman, Joe and Becky Estes of Katy and Amy Estes of College Station, Texas; and two great-grandchildren, Cody and Caylee Rollins of Edmond. He is preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Bearers will be his grandchildren and their spouses. Honorary bearers are Dr. David Bentley, C.L. Bentley, Carl Wessel, Kenneth Ridley, Edwin Lowe, Dr. Steve Gregg and Everett Bedford.
