Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Loco Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Burial will be in Loco Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Comanche. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Comanche. Georgia Allene was born April 5, 1914, near Loco, to George and Bertha Trout. She married James R. Edmondson on Nov. 25, 1933, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1965. Mrs. Edmondson was substitute postmaster in Loco for 30 years and worked for Loco Rural Water District for 23 years. She was a long time member of the Loco Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and the Loco Extension Homemakers Club. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jerry Sutton of Loco; a sister, Clarice Hall of Loco; a grandson, Donny Sutton and his wife, Marquita, of Loco; three granddaughters, Susie McMeans of Ardmore, Retha Clower and her husband, John, of Duncan, and Janell Reisch and her husband, Jim, of Chickasha; four great-granddaughters, Amy Laminack and her husband, Corey, of Keller, Texas, Dana Sutton of Fresno, Calif., Melody McMeans of Ardmore, and J'Ann Clower of Norman; two great-great- granddaughters, Kiley and Keely Laminack; and special nephews, Billy Bob Deaton, George Hall and Larry Hall. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
