Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel in Pampa with the Rev. Allen Wilson, pastor of First Baptist Church of White Deer, officiating. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens West Mausoleum in Pampa. Mr. Edwards had been a resident of Dumas for the past 10 years and was a former longtime Pampa resident. He was a pipeline welder and was a member of Pipeliners Local Union No. 798. Survivors include his wife, Connie; two sons: Jesse and Jason Edwards, both of Hereford; his mother, Hildred Stafford of White Deer; three sisters, Linda Newman of White Deer, Sharon Ramirez of San Angelo and Stella Spalding of Portsmouth, Va.; a half-brother, Jack Edwards of Pampa; two half-sisters: Bitty Taylor of Pampa and Cecilia Geneva of Howardwick; two stepsons, David Dunn and Brian Dunn, both of Pampa; and two grandchildren, Brady Dunn and Lainie Dunn, both of White Deer. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
