Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2995, at New Hope Baptist Church in Duncan with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. ========= The Chickasha Express-Star Tuesday, 6 December 2005 LORETTA [SILVERS] ELY Loretta Ely, 71, Marlow, OK, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005 in Oklahoma City. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at the New Hope Baptist Church West in Duncan, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, Oklahoma. Loretta was born Thursday, October 18, 1934 in Coyle, OK, to Norman and Edna (Blasier) Silvers. Loretta graduated from Coyle High School in 1952. She married Alton Ely on September 1, 1956 in Stillwater, OK. After graduation Loretta moved to Oklahoma City for 10 years and then to Phoenix, AZ for 30 years. She returned to live in Duncan in 1999. Loretta enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include, husband, Alton Ely of the home; two sons, Randy Ely and wife Joan of Amber, OK; Rick Ely and wife Tammy of Duncan, OK; six grandchildren, Stephanee Villapudua & husband Phillie, Steven Ely & wife Theresa, Krystle Ely, Bill Ely Scott Ely, Matthew Ely; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Villapudua, Phillie Villapudua; two sisters, Ruth Williams of Lovington, NM; Connie Hoffman & husband Bill of Stillwater, OK; and other special family. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bobby Andrews. Pallbearers: Brad Turner, Joe Greer, Mike Hoffman, Mark Brown, Gene Curtis, Leon Woolf. Honorary: Leonard Carson, Tom Reeves, Jerry Bowser, Paul Lee and Barry Collaso.
