Mary Grace Elkins

CHILDRESS - Mary Grace Elkins, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Childress Church of Christ with 
Doyle Wells of Lake Charles, La., and Bill Mayes of Childress officiating. 
Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Elkins was born in Comanche, Okla. For 72 years, she was a member of 
the Childress Church of Christ. She was a member of the Burlington Club 
and the Childress Home Demonstration Club. She was a homemaker and LVN for 
Childress General Hospital.

She married Lonnie Elkins in 1926 at Childress.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Lon Ray Elkins of Caldwell; three 
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
