Fox Lawrance V. Fox 91, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 at Gregston Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. T. O. Parsons and the Rev. Alan McGuire officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born August 18 1911, to William Calvin and Carrie (McClannahan) Fox in Henrietta, TX, he had lived in Marlow most of his life and was a veteran of the Army/A.F. having served during World War II. Fox owned and operated Fox Garage where he retired as a mechanic, he attended Oak Grove and was a graduate of Gatlin High School. On August 22, 1942, he married Nina Esteen Chambers in Marlow. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and two brothers. Survivors in addition to his wife Nina of the home include a daughter and son-in-law Verna and Bill Grimes of Kelso, WA; a granddaughter Jennifer Jenkins and husband Chris of Kelso, WA; two grandsons Jeff Grimes and Michael Grimes both of Kelso, WA; and a brother and sister-in-law O.B. and Ruby Fox of Amarillo, TX. Serving as pallbearers were C.T.
