All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Duncan Banner 10 Sep 2002 Rubye Neal Fulton Rubye Neal Fulton, 88, a longtime Duncan resident, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, in Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Services are pending at this time. Mrs. Fulton was born Jan. 16, 1914, in Ara, to W. H. "Buck" and Minnie Pierce Neal. Her parents were Stephens County pioneers and her father was an early day rancher and oil producer. She graduated from Duncan High School and attended the University of Oklahoma until her marriage to Steve Stiles Fulton in l934. She had lived in Norman and Oklahoma City the past several years. She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and participating in the Oh-Da-Ko Bunco Club. She was an ardent dish collector and an avid OU football fan. Mrs. Fulton was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include her son, Bill Fulton of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Pat Tompkins of Duncan and Linda Garvin of Norman; four grandchildren, Grayson Garvin, Laurel Garvin, Pam Burnside and Jeff Tompkins; and two great grandchildren, Kristen Tompkins and Jeriah Cobb.
