All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 6 February 2005 VICKIE JEAN FOWLER Graveside memorial services for Vickie Jean Fowler, 51, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Sister Alice Wendling officiating. Vickie Jean Fowler was born Oct. 6, 1953 in Duncan, Oklahoma, the daughter of Billy Don Brown and Phyllis Jeanette Dove Brown. She died Feb. 1, 2005 in Wichita. Vickie moved to California as a young girl where she attended public schools. She later returned to the Duncan area where she attended and graduated from Red River VoTech with a degree in Nursing. She married Dwight Fowler on Dec. 31, 1985 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Vickie had been employed with Eventide Nursing Home, now Grace Living Center in Chickasha and OMH in Oklahoma City and in the Marlow Manor in Marlow, Oklahoma. She was presently employed with Catholic Care Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Bruce Brown. Survivors include her husband, Dwight, of the home in Wichita; five daughters, Jamie Rodriguez, Jacqueline Brown, Melissa Albin, all of Wichita, Kansas, Lorrie Fowler of August, Georgia, Rebecca Fowler of White City, Kahsas; two sons, Harland Fowler, Jr. and James Fowler, both of Wichita; two sisters, Katherine Smith, of Wichita, Suzette Fogle, of Ninnekah; one brother, Barry Cake of Visalia, California; 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
