She came to Oklahoma as a child and lived all of her adult life in Stephens County. she professed her faith in Jesus Christ at Immanuel Baptist Church in 1944. She married Hardy Lee Ford in December of 1927. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Frankie Edna and A.J. Jorgensen and Johnnie Mary and Bill Busbee all of Dallas, four grandchildren, Andrea June and husband Gary Prindle of Dallas, James David and wife Patty Jorgensen of Tulsa, Lisa Ann Busbee of Corona Del Mar CA, and Michael Ford Busbee of Dallas five great- grandchildren, Michael and Amy Prindle and Daniel, Timothy and Julia Jorgensen, a sister Pauline McGarr and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son and a sister, Mable Cowan. Funeral services were in Carter Smart funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Jorgensen officiating. Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Carter- Smart Funeral Home of Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
